Pricing Plans

• The Dbvisit Standby license is a perpetual license which never expires.
• Socket refers to each occupied CPU socket.
• The Dbvisit Standby license for standby server(s) is included in price.

Pricing for Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)

• Pricing for RAC is determined by the total number of occupied sockets for all the primary servers in the RAC database (exclude standby servers).
  For example in a 2 node RAC cluster with each node having 2 sockets, the total number of sockets for Dbvisit Standby licensing purposes is 4.
• Multiple Instance license(s) applies for Oracle RAC.
• You only need to purchase ONE Dbvisit Standby Multiple Instance license for one Oracle RAC database across all your primary servers (or nodes).

Pricing for non-RAC Clusters

• For Linux and UNIX active/passive failover clusters (non RAC) and for Microsoft Cluster Server with Oracle Fail Safe, a Multiple Instance Dbvisit Standby license is required.
• The Multiple Instance license type is determined by the number of sockets in the primary server in the cluster.

• The Dbvisit Replicate license is a perpetual license which never expires.
• Replicate pricing is based on its release primarily to Early Adopters*.

Pricing for Dbvisit Replicate

• All Dbvisit Replicate licenses offer the same full functionality.
• Prices may vary from time to time depending on exchange rate.
• Both source and target databases have to be licensed.
• Socket refers to each occupied CPU socket.

Pricing with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)

• Pricing for RAC is determined by the total number of occupied sockets in the RAC cluster.
• In addition to this a RAC factor is applied to the base license.

* Dbvisit Replicate pricing is based on its release primarily to Early Adopters, those companies who wish to be the first to use the product in return for this relatively low price. Early Adopter customers will have direct access to the Dbvisit development team and are expected to provide regular feedback on the product.
