About Us

Dbvisit Software Limited grew out of our CTO and founder Arjen Visser’s previous experience as a database specialist in New Zealand and Europe. Routinely called in to fix “home-grown” disaster recovery solutions that lacked robustness, or were very hard to configure and maintain, this inspired him to develop and launch our first product, Dbvisit, in 2006.

 

Renamed Dbvisit Standby in 2011, our flagship product for Oracle® Database Standard Edition users is trusted by customers in over 60 countries worldwide to inexpensively protect their critical data infrastructure. In 2011 we also released Dbvisit Replicate, our affordable, real-time Oracle database replication solution for Standard Edition users.

As smart alternatives to Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard our products can save you up to 80% on Oracle licensing and are designed to be ‘set and forget’. They are simple to install and manage, functionally rich and come with comprehensive documentation and support for your peace of mind.

Dbvisit Software Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Avisit Solutions Limited, founded in 2000. We are headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, with sales offices in the USA, the Netherlands and France.

 

In 2011 Dbvisit Software Ltd ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 for Asia Pacific, coming in at position 415 for fastest growing tech company in whole of India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, rest of Asia and Australia and New Zealand. Something we are very proud of.
