Cannot change the installation location Win2008R2 - Dbvisit Standby

Dbvisit Standby version 6.0.xx, there is a limitation that it is not possible to change the default installation location for Windows 2008R2. If a different path is chosen in the installer, then this is ignored and Dbvisit Standby is installed under:
C:\program files\dbvisit OR
C:\program files (x86)\dbvisit (for 64bit).

It is possible after the installation to manually move the Dbvisit Standby installation to a different location. The steps are quite simple.

The steps are:

1. Install Dbvisit Standby as per normal under the default location.
2. Stop the Dbvserver process under Windows Services.
3. Move the "dbvisit" directory and all the subdirectories to the new location. This includes the "standby" and "dbvserver" directories and all subdirectories.
4. Open the Windows registry with "regedit" and go to:
   64bit: \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Avisit\Db visit
   32bit: \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Avisit\Db visit
   and update the Value data of the following Values names to the new location:
   Dbvisit\BinDir
   Dbvisit\Standby/BinDir
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\A_HexPublicKey
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\A_SSH2PublicKey
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\A_TunnelierKeypair
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\A_WinSSHDKeypair
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\B_HexPublicKey
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\B_SSH2PublicKey
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\B_TunnelierKeypair
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\B_WinSSHDKeypair
   Dbvisit\Standby\ssh\sshDir
5. Change the Dbvserver service location in the registry:
   Search for Dbvserver
   There could be 2 or more entries
   Edit ImagePath and set this to the new location.
6. Restart the Dbvserver service in Windows Services
   

This has to be done on both the primary and standby servers.
For an upgrade the above steps also need to be done. An upgrade in Dbvisit always involves a complete set of new executables, so the new executables can be copied over the old executables.

If running the system_readiness test and the feedback is:
Cannot find or execute . Please investigate or run installer again.

Then temporarily copy the dbvisit.exe file to "C:\program files\dbvisit\standby" (create the necessary directories if necessary)

Run the system_readiness again with command:
dbv_functions -a system_readiness

After the system_readiness has been completed successfully, "C:\program files\dbvisit\standby\dbvisit" can be removed.
