Default Error when creating StandBy Database

Hello,

I try DbVisit for my company, but I've got a problem when I create the standby database :

Code:
=>Oracle does not seem to be installed on standby_server. Please install Oracle first on standby_server before creating a standby database.
I don't understand because Oracle is already install and I can create manually a database. Do you have any idea of the cause of this problem ?

Here are my variable for DBVisit :

Default Correct ORACLE_HOME_DR

Thank you for trying Dbvisit.

Dbvisit on the primary will go to the standby server and check if the Oracle executable exists to determine if Oracle in installed on the standby server or not. In your case it checks for:

E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin\oracle.exe

Does this Oracle executable exist on your standby server?

It uses ORACLE_HOME_DR to determine the location of the Oracle executable. Your ORACLE_HOME_DR is set to:
ORACLE_HOME_DR=E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1

If this is not correct then please update the ORACLE_HOME_DR setting to the actual ORACLE_HOME on the standby server.

You can edit the Dbvisit Database Configuration (DDC) file with any editor and change it. In your case the DDC file is probably called dbv_oradev2.env.
Only edit the DDC file on the primary server. Dbvisit will synchronise the DDC file with the standby server, the next time Dbvisit or dbvisit_setup is called.

If this is not the issue, then please send us all trace files from e:\oracle\Dbvisit_temp\*.trc on the primary and standby server and we will investigate the issue for you.

You can log a new job and upload the trace files at: http://www.dbvisit.com/support.php

Thank you.

Default

By looking the trace file, this error is due to wrong right on the standby server, a path could not be created. I correct it but I've got another problem.
I ask the support for that.

Regards,
