Default Return code = 456 - Is urgent

Log file(s) for 1 will be transferred from node1 to disaster...
Transferring 1_62913_719255989.dbf.gz to host sifdr:1_62913_719255989.dbf.gz
201108161239 - 1 Log transfer to sifdr for node1 completed.
Last sequence was 62913 thread 1.

Starting Dbvisit Archive Management Module (AMM)...

Total number of archive files : 285
Number of files deleted : 0
Current Disk percent full : 4%
201108161239 - Source server (or node) not obtained for node2 for RAC_TAKEOVER option. Please ensure RAC_TAKEOVER_SID is set correctly.
If destination (standby) server for node2 is not , then edit Dbvisit Database configuration (DDC) file dbv_node1.env and add or edit setting:
RAC_TAKEOVER_DESTINATION = name of standby server for node2.
Dbvisit terminated.
Return code = 456

But, The rac_takeover is correct. Is node2 and the Connectivity is correct-

My node1.env:

RAC_TAKEOVER = Yes
RAC_TAKEOVER_SID = node2
RAC_TAKEOVER_FORCE = Yes

What is the problem?.

Thanks and regards.

Hello,
The reason could be that Dbvisit has not been run on node2 yet. Before RAC_TAKEOVER can function it needs to run on all nodes in the RAC cluster so that it can collect all the information about all the nodes.

Please run Dbvisit on node2 with command:
dbvisit node2

Kind regards
