Default CSD process hangs on Windows

Issue:
During the creation of a new standby database the following issue was encountered. The end of the CSD (create standby database) trace finished incompletely, like this:

20110413 20:29:21 main::_set_keypair_file-> keypairfile=-keypairFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\ssh2\A_TunnelierKeypair"
20110413 20:29:21 main::UTIL_WIN32_rsh_cmd-> "D:\Program Files (x86)\Bitvise Tunnelier\sexec.exe" -unat=y -hostKeyFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\ssh2\B_SSH2PublicKey" -keypairFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\ssh2\A_TunnelierKeypair" SRVORCDR01 ""D:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\dbv_functions.exe" -c "D:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\dbv_VALUEPR2_DR.env" "
20110413 20:29:21 main::UTIL_WIN32_rsh_cmd-> "D:\Program Files (x86)\Bitvise Tunnelier\sexec.exe" -unat=y -hostKeyFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\ssh2\B_SSH2PublicKey" -keypairFile="C:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\ssh2\A_TunnelierKeypair" SRVORCDR01 ""D:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\dbv_functions.exe" -c "D:\Program Files (x86)\Dbvisit\dbv_VALUEPR2_DR.env" "

When manually running the command that is issued at this point by CSD, it hung on the following:
Transferring dbv_functions.exe to host SRVORCDR01:dbv_functions.exe

Solution:
Further investigation revealed that Dbvisit Standby was stuck on the "dbvisit -c" command - the command which is used to copy the Dbvisit Standby installation and configuration (DDC) file from the primary server to the standby server.

The reason for this was that the dbv_functions.exe (executable) was 0 bytes on both the primary and standby server. There is not a clear explanation as to why the file was this size, but the resolution was a simple one: rerun the Dbvisit Standby installer on the primary and then run dbvisit -c again.

This resolved the issue and allowed the creation of the standby database to proceed, and complete.
