- Dbvisit for Windows includes ssh (secure shell) software from Bitvise to securely transfer the updates to the standby server. This makes Dbvisit on Windows very secure and Windows servers are not compromised by using non secure ports and transport mechanisms.
- Oracle Database or Windows server will not have to be restarted during the installation.
- Dbvisit for Windows includes its own internal mail client.
- Dbvisit on Windows works exactly the same as Dbvisit on Linux/Unix. This means that DBA's can easily switch between the two environments. There are no new command to learn for Windows.
- Dbvisit on Windows comes with a modern Windows installer. This makes installation and upgrades very easily.
- Dbvisit on Windows comes with a ssh configuration wizard which will setup ssh between the primary and standby servers.
- Dbvisit on Windows will create shortcuts so that it is easy to run Dbvisit commands and to view the User Guide.

The software is fully functional commercial software. A license key is needed to activate the software to change it from an evaluation version to a fully licensed version. No re-install or upgrade is required.
