Dbvisit is a product of Avisit Solutions Limited.
Avisit Solutions Limited was founded in June 2000 in New Zealand by Database specialist, Arjen Visser. In his previous work experience he realised that there was little attention paid to Disaster Recovery, therefore leaving companies extremely vulnerable. The solutions that were in place lacked robustness. This inspired him to initiate the development of Dbvisit, according to the following principles:

- Robustness
- Let the software do all the work, thereby giving peace of mind

	Arjen Visser - Technical Director and Lead Developer Arjen has over 20 years of database experience in the IT industry. His technical expertise and extensive IT knowledge covers a broad range of industries. He is passionate about helping to create software that is highly effective and simple to use. In his leisure time he likes to play tennis and go bodyboarding at New Zealand's rugged West Coast beaches.
	Bertie Plaatsman - Sales & Marketing Bertie brings a creative edge to Dbvisit, employing her extensive marketing background to ensure more companies worldwide can benefit from our products. Bertie has a strong focus on customer care and building solid relationships with clients. Her passion is in helping and connecting people through technology. Bertie speaks fluent English, Dutch and German. Based in New Zealand she loves hiking, gardening and art.
	John Channings - Business Strategist John's straight forward approach and clear thinking helps us to remain focused on our core values, which is creating effective software that adds true value to a business. His passions include teaching and creating his dream sailing boat.
	Lasse Lundbom - On-line Marketing Lasse has an extensive marketing and graphic design background with an expertise in creating internet based marketing campaigns. He is recognized for his simple, fresh and effective designs. In his leisure time he likes to play the drums, be out in nature, and go to the movies.
	Geofrey Rainey - Developer Geofrey is a Certified Oracle Professional with broad knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems. He has a 'can do' attitude and never gives up until he has found the best solution. In his leisure time he likes reading, running, and computer gaming.
